Welcome to the
Tyler-Rose City Kiwanis Club
Tyler-Rose City Kiwanis Club
We are part of a global volunteer organization called Kiwanis International dedicated to serving children and the disabled in our community. The mission of Kiwanis is to improve the world, one child and one community at a time. Helping kids grow and succeed is at the heart of everything we do. We invite you to be a part of our wonderful organization and work with us to achieve this goal. If we all work together, we can truly change the world, ONE CHILD, AND ONE COMMUNITY AT A TIME. Kids Need Kiwanis
Kids are curious, lovable, and hilarious. They are also wild, impatient, and vulnerable. Kiwanis is looking out for kids in every corner of the globe with more than 550,000 volunteers who serve their communities through local clubs.
Kiwanis Values
There are six objects that guide our organization. They are our values. Our beliefs. Our core. Delegates approved the six permanent Objects of Kiwanis at the 1924 Kiwanis International Convention in Denver, Colorado. They have remained unchanged through the decades.
OBJECT 1: TO GIVE primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
OBJECT 2: TO ENCOURAGE the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
OBJECT 3: TO PROMOTE the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards.
OBJECT 4: TO DEVELOP, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.
OBJECT 5: TO PROVIDE, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service and to build better communities.
OBJECT 6: TO COOPERATE in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and good will.
