Bringing Up Grades (Bug)
Bruce, Samantha
Encourages elementary age students to raise their grades in at least one subject each report card. Students receive recognition certificates that they can take home and are included in a party at the end of each report card period.

Flag Program

Fundraiser that places flags in the community 7 times a year: President's Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, September 11th and Veteran's Day.
McAfee Reading Program

Program to encourage reading and the love of books. Committee reads to Kindergarten age children in Tyler ISD monthly and hands out free books to each child.

Service Leadership Programs Encourage students to develop leadership skills, build character & perform community service projects thru Key Club, Builder's Club, K-Kids and BUGS (Bringing Up Grades)
Spirit of Christmas Food Drive Coordinates the Spirit of Christmas Food Drive locally by working with Brookshires Grocery Stores to insure food is picked up from their locations and stored at the K-Barn; working with local schools to pick up food from their food drives and store it at the K-Barn. Also co-ordinate local youth groups and others to help sort and box the food for distribution. Maintain and coordinate the distribution list with Meals on Wheels and other Smith County Agenices. Recruit volunteers to deliver boxed
The ELIMINATE Project Raise funds to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetnus in underserved countries of the world
Turkey Shoot Committee A one day event held at Camp Tyler. Open to the public. Participants shoot at targets to win Turkeys and Hams. Concession stand on-site. Hay rides provided by Camp Tyler. It is an annual major fundraiser for projects such as Spirit of Christmas Food Drive, Service Leadership Programs in our local schools -Scholorship's, BUG's programs, Anti-Bullying programs, Boy Scout's of America, Camp Tyler, McAfee Reading Program among others.
Tyler Day Nursery Annually the club provides a visit from Santa Claus along with presents for each child enrolled at the Tyler Day Nursery
V-Dac Fundraiser in which members locate vehicles to be donated to the club
